The physics department has laid a strong emphasis on providing undergraduate students with an in depth understanding of the fundamentals of physics over a broad spectrum

Introduction

Department of physics believes that specialization should only be introduced after having a developed sound base at MSc level. The department feels that a narrow specialization at an early stage does not lead to graduate with the potential to develop into creative scientists or as effective technologists. The department lays great emphasis on the quality and mode of teaching and research supervision. As such the department ensures that its test and examinations are truly a measure of its student’s analytical and creative abilities.

Eligibility Criteria

14 Years of Education (BA/B.Sc/ BCom/ADP or equivalent) with at leats 45% in the terminal degree.

Duration

The minimum Duration to complete this program is 2 years, while the maximum Duration to complete this program is 3 years.

Credit Hours

The minimum credit hours to complete this program is 60 hours, while the maximum credit hours to complete this program is 72 hours.
