MS Computer Science

Master of Science in Computer Science is being offered by the Department of Computer Science within and outside Pakistan

Introduction

The program is designed to produce academicians and professionals of high quality. The designed course work provides depth and breath-based knowledge of core computer science areas (as identified by the HEC), moreover specialization courses enable students to develop advanced expertise in their chosen area of specialization. Currently, following specializations are being offered: * Software Engineering * Computer Networks Databases Note: MS Computer Science program is offered only once a year. The MS (Computer Science) program may be taken as full-time study. This program can be completed within two years. Courses are conducted through lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions during a four-semester.

Eligibility Criteria

* 45% marks in Annual System or 2 CGPA in Semester System. * GAT/Departmental Admission/Entry Test shall be conducted by the Department
as per schedule.

Duration

The minimum Duration to complete this program is 2 years, while the maximum Duration to complete this program is 3 years.

Credit Hours

The minimum credit hours to complete this program is 30 hours, while the maximum credit hours to complete this program is 36 hours.
