The department of Economics had a start in October 2014, when this university campus was introduced as a sub campus of University of Gujrat with the motive of setting up of quality education in the area

Introduction

MS Economics involves 30 credit hours, whereby course work will be followed by comprehensive exam and research work to develop new scientific knowledge, critical thinking, problem-solving strategies, active learning, self-realization, and participation in research discoveries. This program intends to help in enhancing the knowledge about the economic policies and challenges faced round the globe. This will consequently lead to uplift knowledge base about the circumstances of Pakistan economy. Department of Economics will focus on the solutions-oriented research related to economic issues.
