The International Office of our university strives to foster a diverse and inclusive academic community that promotes global citizenship, cultural understanding, and academic excellence. Our vision is to create a welcoming and supportive environment for international students, scholars, and staff, and to provide them with the resources, services, and opportunities they need to succeed academically, professionally, and personally.
Mission
The mission of the International Office of USTK is to facilitate and enhance international education and cultural exchange by:
⮚ Recruiting, admitting, and supporting a diverse and talented international student body that enriches our academic programs and contributes to a vibrant campus community.
⮚ Providing comprehensive support and services to international students, scholars, and staff, including academic advising, immigration support, cultural adjustment assistance, and social and recreational activities.
⮚ Promoting study abroad and exchange programs for our students, faculty, and staff, and facilitating partnerships with international institutions that enhance our academic and research programs.
⮚ Cultivating a welcoming and inclusive campus environment that values diversity, promotes intercultural understanding, and prepares our students to be global citizens.
⮚ Providing leadership and expertise in international education and cross-cultural communication to the university community and beyond.
⮚ Develop partnerships with international institutions and organizations to promote research collaboration, faculty exchanges, and joint programs. Identify areas of research excellence and work to develop joint research projects with international partners.
⮚ Foster a strong sense of community among international students, scholars, and staff by organizing cultural events, social activities, and leadership development programs. Develop a network of alumni and supporters who can help mentor and support international students after they graduate.
⮚ Develop and maintain strong partnerships with international institutions, government agencies, and other organizations to facilitate student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and other collaborative initiatives. Build a strong reputation for the university as a leader in international education and research.
