Awareness session on Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants

[SIALKOT] - The University of Sialkot, in partnership with SSDO Pakistan held a session with support from IOM Pakistan and Embassy of Denmark in Pakistan conducted a pivotal awareness session on Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and Smuggling of Migrants (SOM), focusing on empowering university youth to combat trafficking in persons and migrant smuggling.
The awareness session was led by the esteemed SSDO team, with Syed Taimoor Shah at the forefront led the implementation. Mr. Taimoor, a seasoned professional with a robust background in national security and research, spearheaded an enlightening discourse on the challenges and solutions related to migration, human trafficking, and bonded labor.
The SSDO team, after the awareness session, had an insightful meeting with Mr. Muhammad Rehan Younas, Executive Director, and Prof Dr. Khaleeq Ur Rahman, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sialkot. During the meeting, they discussed potential collaborations and strategies to further address issues related to migration and human trafficking.
