The Event Management Society, at the University of Sialkot, observed October 27th as Black Day to stand in support for the people of Kashmir. This day serves as a reminder of the beginning of the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by Indian forces—a struggle marked by the resilience and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people, which continues to this day. It also shows that Pakistanis are always concerned about the wellbeing of the Kashmiris. The event featured a solidarity walk led by worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman. The Deans, Directors, Head of Departments, faculty members, and a large number of students walked together, in their support for Kashmir’s right to peace and freedom. USKT stands with the brave people of Kashmir, honoring their sacrifices and hoping for a future filled with justice, peace and liberation.
