The University of Sialkot hosted a team from the District Health Authority Sialkot for an important inspection to control the spread and breeding of dengue mosquitoes on the campus. The visit was led by Ms. Sehrish Khalid, District Entomologist, Mubarak Ali, District Sanitary Inspector, and Muhammad Qateel, CDC Officer. Mr. Arif Aziz (Registrar), Prof. Dr. Tanvir Ali Khan Sherwani (Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences), Ms. Rooma Qadeer (Director, Student Information and Facilitation Center), Mr. Usman Ali Sandhu (Assistant Registrar), and Mr. Zaeem Ahmed (Manager, Administration) guided the guests throughout their visit of the different sections of the university. Ms. Sehrish Khalid appreciated USKT's efforts to combat dengue cases. The DHA inspection team also visited the cafeteria and washrooms, offering valuable recommendations for further improvement and assuring full support. The team later met with the Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman, who appreciated the team's efforts and offered full support from the university for their future assignments.
