In accordance with the US Embassy Islamabad’s mission to reach out to US nationals in the Sialkot region Mr. Richard T. Phillips (Counselor Section Chief, US Consulate, Lahore), Mr. Awais Shabaz (Deputy Chief, American Citizen Services) and Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Towni (CLV Warden-Sialkot) visited University of Sialkot and met with the Honorable Mr. Faisal Manzoor (Chairman, Board of Governors, University of Sialkot) and Mr. Muhammad Rehan Younas (Executive Director, University of Sialkot) and discussed various proposal for future collaboration. The Counselor Section Chief lauded the efforts of USKT and considered one of the best institution in town. The delegation met with the US Nationals based in Sialkot and facilitated in their visa applications and routine passport and notary services, as part of their ACS assistance program. Later on Mr. Richard T. Phillips and Mr. Awais delivered a detailed session to USKT Faculty and students about different procedure as to how to seek admission US Universities and how to apply and dos and don’ts. The Counselor Section Chief also opened the intra-departmental sports activity by playing cricket with USKT management.
