The University of Sialkot’s Department of Education, proudly celebrated issuance of NOC for its PhD program in Education by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad. The worthy vice chancellor, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman, talked about the significance of this milestone, emphasizing the vital role of education as a mentor department in the university and credited the collaborative efforts of the faculty, QEC and academic department, for making this achievement possible. He also further stressed the importance of character building in educators, community engagement, international trust-building and preparing them for future challenges. The Respected Dr. Navid Jamil Malik, Dean Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, acknowledged the efforts of the Education department and shared his thoughts on the occasion, expressing deep connection with the field of education and how research at USKT integrates culture, literature and education, to create meaningful academic advancements. Dr. Rashid Minhas Wattoo, Head - Department of Education, thanked the worthy vice chancellor, for his trust and visionary leadership and appreciated the support of the department faculty members and administrative offices. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a group photo.
