On 17 April 2023, the University of Sialkot was represented by two students, Mr. SamSaam Haider Bajwa from the Department of Mass Communication and Miss Reeda Mushtaq from the Department of Islamic Studies, in a quiz competition at PTV Ramzan Transmission. They competed against the team from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and emerged as the winners. The Winning team was awarded a cash prize and gifts by PTV.
