The Department of Pharmacy organized an event to show how important community pharmacists are in keeping people healthy during heat waves.The Respected Dean Faculty of Interlinkages Dr. Aslam Dar, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciencs Dr. Tanvir Ali Khan Shirvani, Registrar Mr. Muhammad Yaqoob, and Dean Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr. Navid Jamil Malik, other Faculty members and students attended the event.The event talked about the dangers of sunburn, heat stroke, diarrhea, and dehydration, and how to prevent them. Pharmacy students offered free services like blood pressure checks, blood glucose tests, blood group tests, and BMI measurements. These services help people stay healthy by finding problems early. There was also a drink stall to remind everyone to stay hydrated.
These activities are important during hot weather to teach students how to protect their health.
