The University of Sialkot's worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman held a meet-up session with Fall 2024 MS and PhD programs scholars. He shared his vision of international character building, encouraging students to develop global perspectives while staying connected to their roots, by advising them to build strong relationships with their teachers, as these connections are essential for personal and academic development. Highlighting the role of scholars in shaping the university's future, he urged them to contribute to making the University of Sialkot, a prestigious institution in the region. He also encouraged to rise above challenges and embrace futuristic opportunities, by talking about the hardships Pakistan has faced and the need for students to be ready to contribute to the nation’s progress. The worthy vice chancellor also emphasized the importance of adhering to HEC policies, maintaining discipline and understanding the significance of rules and regulations in achieving success. There was also a talk by the Director Academics, Mr. Taimoor Bin Tanvir, who shared the university's journey, highlighting policies on attendance, anti-plagiarism, probation and semester rules. Dr. Kausar Abbas, Director BASR (Board of Advanced Studies and Research), also discussed the vital role of this department for the students' academic growth. The event ended with a memorable group photo to mark the occasion.
