SEE Pakistan 2024: Building The Future of Pakistan
The University of Sialkot proudly co-hosted SEE Pakistan 2024 at the Expo Center, Lahore, an event aimed at shaping the future of our nation, under the umbrella of APSUP
It included startups from Agriculture, Information Technology, Healthcare, Education, and Climate Change.
At SEE Pakistan, there was a showcased selection of more than 1000 national and international projects, out of which more then hundred projects were displayed among which 6 projects were from University of Sialkot.
We were honored to have the Chief Guest, Member of the National Assembly MQM, Karachi, Mr. Syed Mustafa Kamal, who acknowledged that such startups in Punjab would strengthen the education sector and in the coming years, these startups will be replicated in other provinces of the country.
The respected Education Minister of Punjab, Mr. Rana Sikandar Hayat and honorable ambassadors of various countries, also gave inspiring talks where they asked the government to focus more on such initiatives and support these IT startups.
Syed Mustafa Kamal, a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, alongside the Education Minister of Punjab, Rana Sikandar Hayat, Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdur Rehman, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Superior University visited all the stalls, including those set up by the talented students of USKT, from the Faculty of Computing and IT and Fashion Design.
The Honorable Chairman Board of Governors, Mr. Faisal Manzoor, was the driving force behind this initiative. His vision was to create a platform where students, industry leaders, and academia from private universities could share knowledge and inspire the next generation of innovators. He also emphasized that bringing industry experts into our classrooms is crucial for equipping students with the real-world skills needed to succeed in today's landscape.
Most importantly, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman, also played a big role in making this event successful. His dedication to creating an environment where education meets innovation, has been crucial in preparing our students for future challenges.
The encouragement of the chief guests was a testament to the hard work of our students.
Industrialists from Sialkot, also visited these stalls, showing interest in the work presented by our students and commended the Vice Chancellor for his efforts in leading such initiatives.
At the event, the Honorable Chairman of the Board of Governors, Mr. Faisal Manzoor, received a souvenir from a Member of the National Assembly and representative of MQM, Karachi, Mr. Syed Mustafa Kamal and Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdur Rehman, Chairman of Board of Governors, Superior University, in recognition of his efforts and contributions to the field of education and his vision for SEE Pakistan.
This event was a powerful reminder that collaboration among educators, industry leaders, and policymakers is essential for Pakistan's future leaders and innovators.
