Aviation Nexora ’26 – Open House | Where Ideas Take Flight
The Department of Aviation Management, University of Sialkot, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Kafait Ullah, Dean, Faculty of Management & Administrative Sciences, and Mr. Hamza Akram, Head of the Department of Aviation Management, organized Aviation Nexora ’26 – Open House, with the dedicated support of the faculty members of the Department of Aviation Management, under the inspiring theme “Ideas. Innovation. Aviation – Where Ideas Take Flight.”
The event featured distinguished guests Dr. Shahid Mahmood, PhD in Entrepreneurship, associated with the Institute of Aviation Studies, UMT Lahore, and Mr. Usman Ali, Commercial Pilot associated with Rawalpindi Flying Club. Prof. Dr. Aslam Dar, Dean, Interfaculty Coordination and Industrial Linkages, University of Sialkot, also graced the occasion.
The guests shared valuable insights on professional experiences, industry challenges, career prospects, and the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in Aviation Management. They also discussed the establishment of the world’s first private-sector-owned Sialkot International Airport, highlighting its challenges, development, and future prospects.
The event also featured a Final-Year Project Exhibition and Certificate Distribution Ceremony, recognizing the outstanding contributions and achievements of students.
