Weekly Law Lecture at USKT

The Weekly Law Lecture at the University of Sialkot was organized under the leadership of Dr. Asif Khan, Director Faculty of Law and Ms. Faiza, Head of Department. The guest speaker, Ch Usman Ali Mushtaq, Advocate High Court and Former Secretary DBA Sialkot, spoke to students about important legal rules and criminal laws, by covering Sections 154-173, 249-A, 265-K and CRPC 344 and helping students understand how they are used in court cases. He also explained the role of investigation officers and why it is important to follow proper legal steps to ensure justice.

There was also the discussion of judicial reasoning, where he explained why it is necessary to record reasonings and talked about state cases, explaining the way legal experts represent the state in court. Additionally, he guided students on how to prepare legal applications correctly, highlighting the importance of clear and well-structured writing in legal practice.

The students were encouraged to take their law degree seriously and learn practical courtroom procedures. The session motivated future lawyers, helping them gain the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in the legal field.
