Industry–Academia Dialogue & Iftar Gathering Hosted by Mr. Faisal Manzoor in Lahore
Mr. Faisal Manzoor (Chairman, University of Sialkot and Chancellor, International Institute of Arts, Science and Technology Gujranwala) hosted a distinguished Iftar Dinner and Industry–Academia Collaboration Session at Faletti’s Hotel Lahore in honor of Prof. Dr. Niaz Akhtar, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC), along with leading vice chancellors, representatives of Chambers of Commerce, journalists, and education experts.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Niaz Akhtar highlighted the vital role universities play in promoting research, innovation, and commercialization while improving the quality of higher education in Pakistan. He appreciated the efforts of Mr. Faisal Manzoor for strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
In his remarks, Mr. Faisal Manzoor emphasized that the University of Sialkot and IIAST Gujranwala are committed to providing students with opportunities aligned with HEC guidelines and the evolving needs of industry.
