USKT Celebrates Independence Day & Quaid-e-Azam’s 150th Birth Anniversary
The University of Sialkot (USKT) hosted a ceremony under the supervision of Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, commemorating Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day and the 150th Birth Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (R.A.). Organized by the Board of Societies, University of Sialkot, the event brought together students, faculty members, and staff in a vibrant celebration of patriotism, leadership, and national unity.
The ceremony featured a welcome address by the Acting Secretary, Board of Societies, highlighting the significance of Pakistan’s independence and the enduring vision of Quaid-e-Azam. The audience was captivated by a diverse range of performances, including soulful Milli Naghmas, impactful Urdu and English speeches, colorful cultural presentations, and a compelling theatrical performance by USKT students. These performances reflected the spirit of freedom, national identity, and the values that continue to inspire future generations.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman emphasized the relevance of Quaid-e-Azam’s principles of Unity, Faith, and Discipline in shaping a progressive and prosperous Pakistan.
