Economics Open House 2026 | Economics for a Changing World: Policy, Practice and Education
The Department of Economics, University of Sialkot, organized Economics Open House 2026, bringing together prospective students, parents, alumni, faculty, and industry representatives to explore academic opportunities and career pathways in economics and global finance.
Held under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Kafait Ullah, Dean, Faculty of Management & Administrative Sciences, and Ms. Umbrin Akbar, Head, Department of Economics, the event featured distinguished guests from academia and industry. Highlights included academic program showcases, research and thesis displays, alumni success stories, and an insightful seminar on “Economics for a Changing World: Policy, Practice and Education.”
The Open House also introduced the BS Economics with Data Science program, emphasizing economic data analysis, global economic trends, market analysis, policy development, trade, finance, and sustainable development to prepare future-ready economics professionals.
