10th BASR Meeting Held at USKT
The University of Sialkot conducted its 10th Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) meeting under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman. The meeting was attended by Director BASR Prof. Dr. Kausar Abbas, along with Deans, Directors, and Faculty Members.
Distinguished external members included Vice Chancellor, IISAT Gujranwala, Prof. Dr. Zarrin Fatima Rizvi; Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, IISAT Gujranwala, Prof. Dr. Riasat Ali; Faculty Member, Faculty of Computing & IT, IISAT Gujranwala, Prof. Dr. Aihab Khan; and Chairperson, Department of Management Sciences, University of Gujrat, Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed.
MS and PhD researchers presented their proposals, which were critically reviewed by the Board. The session focused on strengthening research quality, innovation, and industry relevance. The Vice Chancellor emphasized the adoption of experimental techniques and evidence-based research to ensure impactful and authentic scholarly contributions.
