Learning Criminal Law Procedures at USKT
Weekly Law Lecture at USKT – Learning Criminal Law Procedures The Faculty of Law at the University of Sialkot, under the supervision of Director Dr.Asif Khan, Head of Department Ms. Faiza Chaudhary and Lecturer Mr. Gohar Qureshi, arranged this week’s law lecture, providing an insightful session for students. Mr. Ch Ahsan Ismail Advocate High Court and Former Secretary DBA Sialkot shared his knowledge on important criminal law procedures and real-world legal practices.
He explained how Punjab Police and the Health Department have set up a Khidmat Markaz Desk for registering cases and talked about the process of "Naqsha Manzoori" (Injury Statement) where doctors issue the Medical Legal Certificate or Medical Legal Report.
The lecture also covered public and private documents and the role of police diaries. Students got practical experience by writing applications to challenge fake MLCs filed by injured opponents. Such sessions help students understand legal procedures and prepare them for the future.
