USKT Plantation Drive: A Step Towards a Greener Future

The Environmental Society of the University of Sialkot, celebrated the International Day of Forests under the theme “Forests & Foods”. The plantation activity was organized to promote “Green Future: Plant a Tree & Save Nature”

The worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman, along with Deans, Directors, HoDs, faculty members and students, actively participated in the plantation drive on campus. A fruit tree was planted by the Vice Chancellor, symbolizing the university’s commitment to environmental sustainability. He appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of protecting forests to sustain nature. A special prayer was also offered for prosperity and well-being.

This activity was organized by Ms. Aroosa Shahid (Advisor), Taimoor Zahid (President), Maliha Raza (General Secretary) and other environmental society members.

USKT will continue to support and promote such initiatives, setting an example for future generations to contribute towards a greener and more sustainable future.
