Open House 2026 | Department of Education
The Department of Education, University of Sialkot hosted Open House 2026, bringing together educationists, academic leaders, alumni, scholars, students, and parents to celebrate excellence, innovation, and future opportunities in education.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Muhammad Saeed Asghar, CEO (DEA) Sialkot; Mr. Hassan Saftain Cheema, Director, Allama Iqbal Open University, Sialkot; Prof. Muhammad Munir Qadri, Principal, Govt. Jinnah Islamia College Sialkot; Miss Raheela Seemab, DEO (W), E/E Sialkot; and Mr. Muhammad Arshad Butt, Ex-Deputy Director Colleges. The distinguished guests also met Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, University of Sialkot, and appreciated the university’s academic vision and achievements.
Prof. Dr. Navid Jamil Malik, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Dr. Rashid Minas Wattoo, Head of Department, Department of Education, highlighted the department’s academic journey and future aspirations. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sumble Bibi, Assistant Professor, while Dr. Muhammad Qasim Ali, Assistant Professor, moderated an engaging panel discussion on “Education for the Future.”
The Open House also featured alumni success stories, educational activities, performances, and departmental tours, making it a memorable learning experience for all participants.
