Law Lecture Series at USKT
The Faculty of Law at the University of Sialkot successfully conducted its weekly lecture, for its senior students. This series is under the supervision of Dr. Asif Khan (Director, Faculty of Law) and Ms. Faiza Choudhry (Head, Department of Law). The first phase commenced today, with a session on drafting skills arranged by lecturer Mr. Gohar Masood Qureshi. The guest speaker Mr. Ch Ahsan Ismail (Advocate High Court) and Former Secretary DBA Sialkot, had an interactive session with students, where he provided valuable insights into MLC ( Medical Legal Certificate) in police cases, explained the course of criminal investigation and also elaborated on First Information Report procedures, especially in cases involving unidentified offenders. Drawing from his vast experience, he shared practical knowledge on legal application drafting and discussed key Supreme Court judgments shaping legal practices today. Such interactive sessions continue to equip USKT students with practical legal knowledge, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application.
