Open Cinegnition – Beautiful Minds Shape the Future
The Department of Psychology, University of Sialkot organized its Departmental Open House 2026 – “Open Cinegnition: Beautiful Minds Shape the Future” on 19th August 2026. The event provided a unique platform where psychology, creativity, and entertainment came together to promote awareness of mental health and psychological well-being.
The Open House featured an engaging movie screening, interactive psychological games, stand-up comedy, a lively jamming session, and insightful discussions that encouraged students to explore psychological concepts beyond the classroom. Distinguished guest speakers Mr. Ali Jawad, Clinical Counselor at Happiness Clinic, and Ms. Zubia Ihsan, Visiting Lecturer at Government College Women University, Sialkot, shared valuable perspectives on mental health awareness, emotional resilience, and the importance of creating supportive environments for future generations.
Through meaningful conversations, experiential learning, and creative expression, Open Cinegnition successfully highlighted the role of psychology in building healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.
