Independence Day & 150th Birth Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah
In line with the directives of PHEC and the Higher Education Department, Government of the Punjab, the University of Sialkot proudly celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day and the 150th Birth Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (R.A.).
Under the esteemed leadership of Mr. Faisal Manzoor, Chairman, Board of Governors, and Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, Vice Chancellor, University of Sialkot, the event brought together Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, faculty, staff, students, and their families.
The celebrations featured a flag-hoisting ceremony, special prayers for Pakistan’s peace, prosperity, and progress, and a cake-cutting ceremony. The occasion reflected patriotism, unity, and a renewed commitment to Quaid-e-Azam’s guiding principles of Unity, Faith, and Discipline.
A proud day to honour our national hero, remember the sacrifices behind our independence, and reaffirm our shared commitment to a stronger and brighter Pakistan.
