University of Sialkot Commemorates the 1st Anniversary of Maark-e-Haq
The University of Sialkot organized a thought-provoking event to commemorate the 1st anniversary of Maark-e-Haq, bringing together distinguished guests, faculty members, and students to reflect on its significance and national impact.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Major General Sajid Amin (General Officer Commanding 15 Division Sialkot), who was warmly welcomed by Mr. Faisal Manzoor, Chairman Board of Governors, University of Sialkot and Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, University of Sialkot, along with senior faculty members.
In his opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the vital role of Maark-e-Haq in strengthening Pakistan’s position on the global stage and emphasized the importance of unity, resilience, and awareness among the youth in today’s challenging times.
Students from various Departments actively participated through insightful speeches, sharing their perspectives on the success, significance, and long-term implications of Maark-e-Haq. Their enthusiasm and intellectual engagement added great value to the ceremony.
The highlight of the event was the comprehensive address by Major General Sajid Amin, who described Maark-e-Haq as a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and national dignity. Towards the conclusion, Mr. Faisal Manzoor addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of the Two-Nation Theory and other key national issues.
The ceremony concluded with the exchange of shields and souvenirs between the guests and the university administration as a gesture of appreciation and mutual respect.
