Muhammad Saqlain

muhammad.saqlainuskt.edu.pk I am working as Assistant Professor/ Head of Biochemistry department, University of Sialkot, Sialkot. I completed PhD degree in Biochemistry from PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, where I specialized in genotyping and epidemiology of obesity and related disorders, such as liver dysfunctions, Cardiometabolic diseases and diabetes. My research has focused on unraveling the genetic foundations and molecular mechanisms of these conditions, with the ultimate goal of developing targeted therapeutic interventions and public health strategies. I have got the training for modern Molecular Biology and Microbiology techniques from Illumina, Singapore and BioMeriux, France. AS a member of Global marketing services team, I introduced cutting edge technologies in Pakistan including Cepheid SmartCycler real time PCR, GeneXpert, Illumina BeadXpress, Vitek2Compact and automated DNA Isolation system. I presented research work in international and national conferences and published multiple international and national research papers.
