The University of Sialkot
signed an MOU with Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PSGMEA).
Upon an invitation by Pakistan Sports & Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PSGMEA), The Chairman, Board of Governors Universitiy of Sialkot Honorable, Faisal Manzoor and Executive Director respected Muhammad Rehan Younas visited Pakistan Sports & Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PSGMEA) while leading a delegation consists of senior management. The meeting featured a formative dialogue focused on the development of community, progression of commerce, refinement of manufacturing industry and academic excellence in Sialkot.
The Chairman PSGMEA Mr. Arshad Javed Sandal highlighted importance of Research & Development and termed it integral for Sports Industry. The meeting deliberated upon the potential of e-commerce and its Development particularly for exporters and manufactureres, research solutions for both manufactures and exporters, students employment, establishment of R&D, research labs and digitization of industrial landscape of Sialkot.
The Chairman Board of Governors Honorable Faisal Manzoor and Executive Director respected Muhammad Rehan Younis appreciated the vision of PSGMEA and expressed a deeper interst in strengthing industry academia linkages. The University of Sialkot understands what it is meant to be a varsity in golden triangle and not a single stone shall be left unturned for the development of Sialkot, it's industry, it's people and it's Students, said the Chairman BoG Mr. Faisal Manzoor.
The meeting also featured Ch Arif Iqbal (Sr. Vice Chairman PSGMEA), Mushtaq Butt (Vice Chairman PSGMEA), Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmad Ch (Pro Vice Chancellor, University of Sialkot) and Mr. Faisal Waheed (Director, Faculty of Fashion and Textile Design).
Both PSGMEA and USKT vowed to transform industry academia linkages into industry academia partnership through mutual execution of the collaborative projects that may be funded by the Industry.
