Our mission is to conserve natural heritage of the country, dynamism of ecosystems and species threatened with risk of extinction. Since baseline information on most of the species and habitats is fragmentary, we are trying to develop an understanding of concepts and issues relevant to wildlife management in Pakistan. We aim to apply this knowledge for analyzing, designing and implementing wildlife management programs in the country. We impart professional level skills to students to apply their knowledge for conserving endangered species and manage fragmented and disturbed habitats. We inculcate in them an ability to understand wider implications of wildlife management and a sense to integrate information from across disciplines. Not only professionally, we also refine their personality by imparting skills in both written and oral communication. We at University of Sialkot, strives to run advanced degree programs in Zoology maintaining high standards of teaching and research in major branches of Zoology, with a unified approach, emphasizing both the pure and applied aspects. University of Sialkot envisages to contribute in research and teaching through a healthy & fruitful interaction between the students and teachers.

They also have an opportunity to apply theoretical foundation in a real-world setting.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO-1: MS Zoology (PEO's): Graduates will apply advanced knowledge and critical understanding of zoological sciences to interpret current research and address contemporary biological problems.

PEO-2: MS Zoology (PEO's): Graduates will design and conduct independent research using advanced experimental techniques and appropriate methodologies to solve complex problems in zoological sciences.

PEO-3: MS Zoology (PEO's): Graduates will effectively communicate scientific concepts, research findings, and analytical interpretations to specialized audiences, stakeholders, and the wider public through written and oral formats.

PEO-4: MS Zoology (PEO's): Graduates will engage in professional development, higher studies, teaching, or research careers, demonstrating ethical conduct and commitment to lifelong learning in zoology and related disciplines.

Program Learning Outcomes

PLO-1: MS Zoology (PLO's): Critically analyze and synthesize advanced concepts and current research in various fields of Zoology.

PLO-2: MS Zoology (PLO's): Apply advanced experimental techniques and methodologies to conduct independent research and solve complex problems in Zoological sciences.

PLO-3: MS Zoology (PLO's): Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate scientific findings and theoretical concepts in Zoology to both specialized and general audiences.
