The Department of Zoology, a discipline of natural sciences, meets the needs of training persons in a vast basic and interdisciplinary framework concerning Animal Sciences. The Department has earned recognition for academic excellence and prominence in various fields of research like Cell and Molecular Biology, Physiology, Developmental Biology, Entomology, Parasitology and Fisheries, etc. A Zoology graduate after B.S. (Hons.) has a diverse experience and competence to serve or learn further in education, health, agriculture, industry and environment sectors. The fully equipped laboratories, well-furnished class rooms, seminar rooms and update spacious Mir Hassan library provide the best possible facilities to the students in their academic pursuits. All the faculty members are striving hard and exercising their potentialities to the maximum extent focusing the activity based learning.
