The undergraduate physics program in USKT offers a variety of courses and encourages faculty-student interaction. The Department is growing rapidly in strengthening the ongoing program by establishing state-of-the-art labs and qualified faculty having rich and diversified exposure of National /International Universities. The opportunity to work closely with a faculty member and to get first-hand research experience is especially helpful in making post-graduate career decisions. Our students are strongly encouraged to broaden their scientific study through research opportunities outside the campus. The quality and variety of programs in the newly established lab are invaluable in encouraging students’ scientific interest. Some of the interesting phenomena of physics have been shown below for the exposure of students.
They also have an opportunity to apply theoretical foundation in a real-world setting.
PEO-1: BS Physics (PEO's): Empower students in theoretical physics through systematic reasoning, enhance competency in experimental investigations and analysis, and educate in computational physics.
PEO-2: BS Physics (PEO's): Foster analytical skills, teach mathematical and advanced simulation tools for in-depth and comprehensive understanding of fundamental principles of nature and their implementation through strong problem-solving skills across various disciplines to fulfill industry demands effectively.
PEO-3: BS Physics (PEO's): Enable students to lead multidisciplinary projects independently through project management skills by creating abilities to be valuable team members and leaders in the versatile industrial environment.
