Department of Economics is one of the core departments established along with the establishment of the University of Sialkot as a landmark in the history of Sialkot. The department's core mission is to provide excellent education to students from diverse backgrounds in the subject's fundamentals and applications. The graduates of this program are expected to identify the economic and social situations and problems and suggest a set of alternative solutions. It aims at imparting sound theoretical and applied knowledge of Economics. In addition, the offered programs intend to develop awareness among students and train them for national and global challenges.
Imparting knowledge with the motive of setting up standards of quality education in the area. The department intends to enhance the interest and motivations of our students. The Programs offered, in the Economics department, are designed with the vision of fostering the knowledge base about the economic policies and challenges faced around the globe.
