To develop mathematical curiosity in students and urge them to use inductive and deductive reasoning while solving problems. It increases confidence in students to use Mathematics in order to analyze and solve problems both in the field of education as well as in real-life situations. We are in a mission to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to pursue further studies in Mathematics at the same time we are providing courses, mentoring, participation in research projects and other activities for student’s interest and to chase graduate studies in Mathematics. Mission of the department of Mathematics is to Build and enhance computational skills necessary in today’s society and develop the student’s ability to critically interpret numerical and graphical data. Develop the student’s ability to intelligently communicate mathematical results in both written and oral format.

The Mathematics Department offers a broad and challenging academic program that

needs of a diverse student body and diverse state population. Imparting of quality
mathematics education and the inculcating of the spirit of research through

Mission
The mission of the mathematics department is to provide students with an
understanding of mathematical thought and knowledge; the ability to use this
understanding to produce and communicate mathematics; and the preparation to
apply these skills in advanced degree programs and/or careers requiring expertise in
Mathematics. In addition, the department serves as a source of professional
development through seminars and workshops.
ADP Applied Mathematics is an interdisciplinary field that combines mathematical theory, computational techniques, and data analysis to solve complex problems and optimize processes across various domains.
The MSc program aims to teach students the basic concepts which arise in a broad range of technical and scientific problems and illustrates how these may also be applied in a research context to provide powerful solutions.
